other things I forgot in my last post:
-I’ve met a bunch of pretty cool people through the church here. After every Sunday and Wednesday mass, there is a student dinner, so I’ve been going and meeting up with some really nice people. The priest is pretty cool as well. also, they have weekly activities. Last week was a huge inflatable water slide (so much fun)!
-I went to the football game on Saturday and it was awesome. Everyone, and I mean everyone was tailgating beforehand. Apparently there was a record crowd there (I think something around ~33,000 people). That’s probably more people than all those that went to the UA games (no offense). The band was awesome. I mean, our band at ua was awesome because we played, and had a lot of fun. But this band could do formations and everything. It was pretty neat.
-Someone the other day told me that people love football down here almost as much as their religion (that’s intense).
